Department of Water Resources has recently organized the “Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) Training” on 26th – 28th August 2015, at Chaingmai, Thailand. The training aims to provide, refresh and update the IWRM knowledge in Thailand. Representatives from Department of Water Resources countrywide or from 11 Regional Offices have attended the training.

On behalf of GIZ-ECOSWat, Mr. Falk Momber and Miss Jaruwan Ngamsing, were very grateful to be invited to contribute our knowledge during Keynote Lecture regarding “Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA) within an IWRM Framework”. We have shared GIZ’s aspects of IWRM and Planning & Monitoring IWRM Processes.

The lecture was very well received by the audience as IWRM is an important key to a successful water resources management. We would like to sincerely thank our partner, Department of Water Resources.
