Our experience of over 50 years covers a wide variety of areas, including economic development and employment promotion, energy efficiency, environmental protection and conservation as well as maintaining peace and security.

The registered offices of GIZ are in Eschborn, and we operate in around 120 countries.

GIZ is proud to have been part of the long-standing Thai-German cooperation from its inception. Since the establishment of the Thai-German Technical School in 1959, GIZ has implemented over 500 projects to support Thailand in achieving its development goals in line with both national and global contexts.   

Today, the Thai-German Partnership is founded on a shared commitment to the 2030 Agenda, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and key international treaties. Since 2008, Thailand and Germany have fostered a strategic partnership aimed at tackling the climate, biodiversity and pollution crises by building a decarbonised and nature-positive economy and society.
