M&E scheme for the Thai Building Energy Code

On Tuesday 13 October 2015, TGP-EEDP project organizes a workshop called ‘M&E scheme for the Thai Building Energy Code’ at Surasak Room 3, 11th floor Eastin Grand Sathorn Bangkok.
According to the attempt of governmental sector to enforce the ministrial regulation on Building Energy Code (BEC), the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) of BEC is one of the success factor for the scheme. To support this, the workshop was held  to present the study on M&E scheme for the Thai Building Energy Code, which was co-studied by Wuppertal Institute, Germany and the project, and also to gather comments from participants, in order to develop a useful guideline further.
In this occasion, experts from both public and private sectors and lecturers from different universities also join the workshop.

Objectives of the workshop:
1.To discuss different approaches M&E, M&V and MRV;
2.To present ideas monitoring and evaluation of energy saving effect of Thai Building Energy Code;
3.To discuss and collect feedback from experts on M&E mechanism
4.To discuss next steps for setting up an M&E scheme for Thai Building Energy Code
