GIZ – The Rockefeller Foundation’s collaboration on “Renewable Energy Hybrid Grid Systems for Thai Island”

During 26 February to 3 March, the project team; GIZ, Ministry of Energy together with the technical consultant, travelled to Bulon Lae and Bulon Don Islands in Satun province and Mak Noi Island in Phang Nga province to check out the current electricity situation as well as to inform the communities on the project and the benefits of the RE Hybrid Systems. The team collected technical and socio-economic data for further assessment and systems design.
