Thai-German Teaching Aid Centre

Project “Thai-German Teaching Aid Center” was active in the fields of (1) development and introduction of teaching and study materials, (2) staff development and (3) related research. Its main objective was the development and limited production of teaching materials (both hardware and software) based on the existing training programmes for the occupational fields of metal and electronics (M & E). The project’s concept proved to be successful in the long run: Also after the end of the project’s duration curricula were regularly revised and local workshops were included into media production. Additionally, trough good marketing the developed teaching materials were made available for a broader audience. The development of teaching and study materials is still pursued at the Institute for Technical Education Development (ITED) at King Mongkut’s Institute for Technology (KMIT) today.
