Promotion of the Engineering Faculty at the King Mongkut’s Insitute of Technology (KMITNB)

Thai-German Project for the Development of the Faculty of Engineering aimed at improving the quality of education at the Faculty of Engineering at the King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology (KMITNB), especially with regards to the Bachelor study programmes “Production Engineering (PE)” and “Electrical Engineering (EE)”. This should be achieved by providing both funds for the purchase of equipment and advisory and training services. In order to assess the significance of this project one has to keep in mind that – at that point of time – the KMIT trained about 10 percent of all engineers in Thailand, and the project extended is services to one third of those.
