  • The Thai Government has pledged to reduce GHG emissions by 20% by 2030. This could increase to up to 25% with international support.

  • Participants design a plan to improve the quality of nursing care for patients, with the plan set to become part of actual implementation by July 2019.

ASEAN Community of Practitioners upgrade skills of TVET teachers to address Industry 4.0

  • The capacity of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) teachers needs to be enhanced for the implementation of innovative training.
  • TVET experts from ASEAN, the SEAMEO VOCTECH and German experts have upgraded the skills of TVET teachers in strengthening the cooperation with private sector.
  • The project will facilitate the training of multipliers and the development of training manuals for TVET teachers within this year.

  • Cooperation between BISCAST, the Department of Sciences and Technology and ManFabLab helps transform design ideas into actual products.

Thai and Philippines universities/colleges collaborate to strengthen the future of Nexus approach

  • King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi and BISCAST collaborated to provide architectural design solutions using the Nexus approach.
  • The two training institutions learned and exchanged two design concepts: micro-architecture and Sustainable Living in Low-Cost Housing Communities.
