Effective Workshop Design
Well-designed workshop processes and effective moderation techniques can help you to adjust and manage the different interests of each participant and create a mutual goal. This course will cover the workshop design aspect. You will enjoy both live sessions and home assignments during the course.
Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) of Sustainable Development Project*
This online course supports you in gaining understanding of key concepts, principles and tools of M&E including how to design and implement M&E-related activities in a systematic way. The course will provide you with the opportunity to reflect on key topics such as understanding project strategy (results model), measuring achievements and progress (indicators, data collection methods, monitoring plan) and tackling your own challenges and possible solutions, as well as M&E in a time of VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity).

Understanding Your Project Strategy and Result Models **
This is an introductory online course designed to support those of you working in sustainable development to reflect and analyse your own project context, approaches, tools and strategy. It does not just enhance your understanding of “what” the project is about and “why” the project is being strategized the way it is, but also provides you with the “how” to proceed in the future implementation.

Driving Sustainable Rice Cultivation: Understanding Sustainable Rice Platform (SRP) Standard and Performance Indicators
This online course will support those who are implementing SRP outreach programmes, particularly conducting farmers outreach and farmers capacity building activities. You will not only gain a deep understanding of the SRP Standard and Performance Indicators but will also learn how to implement SRP instruments in your own context.
The Academy for International Cooperation (AIZ) is GIZ’s corporate academy. It is the centre of excellence of GIZ for learning and annually offers more than 300 training courses in Germany, Bangkok and elsewhere.
