The site opens to the now iconic symbols of the 17 SDGs, each of which, when clicked, shows clickable links to related GIZ projects in the TUEWAS sector in the region. Besides background information on your project objectives, description, field/s of intervention (including the other SDGs you contribute to), and targeted beneficiaries, you can also share your strategies and action plans, checklists, achievements, knowledge products, innovations, and related links.
The hub is aligned with the GIZ objective of supporting the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and facilitates reporting of our contributions in the TUEWAS sector in Asia to interested parties all over the world. Its launch is timely, as the next UN Climate Change Conference (COP23) in November will undoubtedly draw global attention to progress towards the goals.
In doing its bit as an Asia-based network, TUEWAS strives to engage and contribute to implementing the Agenda and step up for a more integrated approach.
As part of our long-term efforts to strengthen the existing network and knowledge sharing, the website is envisioned as a cooperation platform and an information hub for all things related to TUEWAS and eventually leading to meaningful collaboration.
