How to apply for project support under the new programme

The programme is open to cooperating with a wide range of organizations that share the above mentioned principles and sector focus. The programme offers technical assistance and some financial support on a co-funding basis to other agencies interested in the competitiveness of the selected sectors.

Interested institutions can obtain the application form for new proposals either from GTZ Office Bangkok or Thailand International Development Cooperation Agency (TICA).

The completed application form should be submitted to TICA where it will be registered and pre-screened. In a next step, the proposal will be examined in detail by the Programme Management Committee. If the proposal fulfils a set of five key selection criteria and is chosen for implementation by the PMC, the applying institution will be officially notified.

Selection Criteria:

  • The project contributes directly to achieving a measurable impact on the selected SME sectors.
  • The proposed activities reflect a core activity of the applying organization.
  • The proposal demonstrates a plausible concept, methodology and realistic management plan.
  • The service being supported should have a good chance for being sustainable at the end of the project.
  • There is an acceptable level of risk for achieving the goal of the project.
